Resume Keywords by Job Title

The skills, tools and certifications employers actually mention, counted from real job postings on our own board, not guessed. Pick a role below.

How this data is collected

Every list on this page comes from the same job board we run at /jobs, not from a survey or a guess. When a role on this page clears our minimum sample, we take every published posting for it, pull the plain text out of each description, and count how often the terms in our skills, tools and certifications dictionary appear across the set. A term's share is simply the number of postings that mention it divided by the sample size, so "68% of postings" means exactly that: 68 out of every 100 real postings we collected, not an estimate. Each role's card above shows that sample size, and the role page itself breaks it down further by category. Roles below our minimum sample stay off this index until enough postings have come in to make the percentages mean something.

How to use a keyword list without stuffing

The point of these lists is to tell you what an applicant tracking system and the recruiter searching it are likely to look for, not to give you a list to paste into a hidden corner of your resume. Add a term only where it is true: in a Skills section if you genuinely have it, and again inside a bullet that shows you using it, because a skill that appears in context reads as real rather than copied from a posting. Match the posting's own wording (if it says "stakeholder management," write "stakeholder management," not a synonym) and skip anything you cannot back up in an interview. A resume with every keyword from a list and none of them in a sentence looks padded to the person reading it, and several parsers now flag an unnaturally high keyword density as a separate risk.

Already have a specific posting in front of you? The ATS resume checker compares your resume against that exact job description and returns your own keyword match, missing terms and formatting risks, which is a sharper read than a role average like the one below.
