About the role

Packd Upfit Equipment is a growing manufacturer of innovative commercial van upfitting systems. We're looking for a motivated, commercially minded sales professional to help us develop new business, strengthen customer relationships, and expand our presence across the commercial vehicle market.

This is more than an appointment-setting role. You'll actively identify and develop new opportunities, build relationships with fleets, dealers, upfitters and other commercial customers, and help us create a disciplined, scalable approach to business development.

For someone with initiative and ambition, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on how Packd grows its sales organization.

Why Join Packd?

  • Profit-sharing eligibility after probation
  • Excellent medical benefits
  • Opportunity to directly influence Packd's growth
  • Significant autonomy and opportunity to help shape our sales processes
  • Career growth potential as the company expands
  • Collaborative team culture built around growth, accountability, humility and continuous improvement
  • Convenient Langley/Surrey location in BC's Fraser Valley

What you'll do

Business Development

  • Research and identify prospective fleet, dealer, upfitter and commercial customers
  • Conduct daily outbound prospecting by phone, email, LinkedIn and other appropriate channels
  • Develop relationships with fleet managers, business owners, operations leaders and purchasing decision-makers
  • Qualify opportunities and coordinate sales meetings and product demonstrations
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and move opportunities through the sales pipeline
  • Introduce Packd products to prospective customers and help connect them with the appropriate purchasing channel

Customer Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide professional, timely follow-up
  • Help identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers
  • Represent Packd professionally in every customer interaction

Sales Process & CRM

  • Maintain accurate customer, prospect and opportunity information in HubSpot
  • Help develop effective prospecting approaches, messaging and sales processes
  • Track sales activity and results to understand what is working
  • Work closely with leadership to continuously improve how Packd generates and develops new business

What they ask for

  • 2+ years of B2B sales, business development or outbound prospecting experience
  • Proven ability to generate new business through proactive outreach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable picking up the phone and initiating conversations with new prospects
  • Self-motivated, persistent and able to work independently
  • Organized and disciplined with follow-up and CRM management
  • Curious, commercially minded and interested in understanding customers' businesses
  • Comfortable working in a growing company where you can help improve how things are done

Experience with commercial vehicles, fleets, automotive, transportation, construction, trades or industrial customers is an asset, but not required.

What Success Looks Like

You'll be successful in this role by consistently creating quality new opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, maintaining disciplined follow-up, and ultimately helping Packd grow its customer base and sales.
