The Cheesecake Shop Sippy Downs is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the retail bakery store.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing store operations, supervising employees, managing stock and purchasing, monitoring sales and financial performance, maintaining customer service standards and ensuring compliance with relevant workplace and food safety requirements.

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the retail bakery store.
• Plan and monitor stock levels, product range and merchandising requirements.
• Monitor daily sales, revenue and overall store performance.
• Maintain accurate stock, sales and financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, financial monitoring and cost control.
• Coordinate purchasing and ordering of products, ingredients, packaging and other supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage, spoilage and stock losses.
• Develop and implement appropriate promotional and merchandising activities.
• Promote the store's products and services.
• Ensure products are appropriately displayed and the store is maintained to a high standard.
• Supervise, coordinate and allocate duties to retail and shop-floor employees.
• Assist with recruitment, staff selection, induction and training.
• Prepare staff rosters and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Monitor staff attendance and performance.
• Provide guidance and support to employees to maintain efficient store operations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and respond to customer enquiries and complaints.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve operational or service issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, hygiene and company procedures.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where required.
• Assist in achieving sales targets and maintaining the effective and profitable operation of the store.

• Previous experience in retail management, store management or a similar supervisory position.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with stock management, purchasing and supplier coordination.
• Ability to monitor sales, expenses and financial performance.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy retail and food environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, workplace health and safety and retail operations will be highly regarded.

This is a full-time position based at The Cheesecake Shop, 10/11 Chancellor Village Blvd, Sippy Downs QLD 4556.

The position requires 38 hours per week and offers an annual salary of $80,000 + superannuation.

The Retail Store Manager will have responsibility for the overall management and coordination of the store, including staff supervision, stock and purchasing management, sales and financial monitoring, customer service, merchandising and compliance.
