Senior Marketing Lead Belfast Competitive Salary MCS are delighted to partner with a functional apparel brand creating better ways for people to wear and manage medical devices, starting with insulin pumps and expanding into areas including ostomy and stoma care. This is an opportunity to join at a genuinely exciting stage early enough to have a meaningful influence on how the brand looks, sounds and grows, while helping build the marketing function that will support the businesses next phase. The Role You will be the first full-time marketing hire, working closely with the founders and taking responsibility for shaping and executing our overall marketing strategy. This is a role for someone who wants genuine ownership rather than a narrowly defined channel position. You'll help determine where they focus, how they communicate, how they grow and where they invest there resources. Your responsibilities will include: Brand & strategy: Shape how the brand looks, sounds and shows up across every customer touchpoint Growth: Develop strategies to acquire, engage and retain customers Campaigns & launches: Plan and delivering campaigns, product launches and key brand moments Budget & performance: Manage marketing budgets and making commercially informed decisions about where we invest What You'll Be Doing This is a hands-on role in an early-stage company, so no two weeks will look exactly the same. One week, you could be planning a product launch, coordinating a shoot and working with creators. The next, you might be reviewing paid performance, developing a partnership, building an email campaign or planning an event. Your remit will span: Brand and positioning Content and creative Social media Email and CRM Paid marketing Influencer and creator marketing Partnerships PR E-commerce Product launches Events and activations Marketing analytics and reporting A key part of the role will be knowing when to bring in specialist expertise, finding the right people and managing those relationships effectively. You'll need to be comfortable moving between strategy and execution: defining what needs to happen, building the plan and then making sure it gets done. Who We're Looking For You'll have around 3-5 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally within a consumer, e-commerce, lifestyle, apparel, health or purpose-led brand. You might currently be a Senior Marketing Executive looking for your first significant ownership role, or an experienced Marketing Manager ready to take greater responsibility for a growing brand. They are looking for someone who: Has strong instincts for brand, content and consumer marketing Can turn ideas into clear plans and execute them effectively Is comfortable working across multiple marketing channels Thinks commercially about budgets, performance and growth Can balance brand-building with measurable commercial outcomes Is confident managing agencies, freelancers, creators and other external partners Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities Is proactive, resourceful and comfortable working in an early-stage environment Enjoys getting stuck in and doing what needs to be done Can work independently while collaborating closely with founders and the wider team Wants genuine ownership and responsibility Has the ambition to eventually build and lead a marketing team Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo and Meta Ads would be useful, but they much more interested in strong marketing fundamentals, commercial thinking and the ability to build and execute than someone who simply ticks every technical box.
