Hello, I'm Bianka, Senior Team Leader at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the full accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) cycle, including processing invoices, coordinating payments, and following up on outstanding balances
• Perform bank reconciliations across multiple legal entities
• Prepare and file periodic GST/QST/PST returns for various entities
• Coordinate and manage all government and regulatory filings
• Perform daily verification/reconciliation and maintenance of investment portfolio transactions on our software platform
• Support with monthly reconciliation of all brokerage accounts in the investment portfolio
• Provide assistance with monthly accruals & journal entries for closing of G/L and books and preparation of financial statements
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration for reporting improvements
• Participate in budget forecasting and variance analysis
• Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for the documents and files of all legal entities
• Participate in continuous process improvement
• Leverage technology such as AI tools to automate processes

QUALIFICATIONS
• College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Fully bilingual in French and English (written and spoken)
• Comfortable working within a multi-entity corporate structure
• Team-oriented with a strong service mindset
• Highly organized, methodical, and attentive to detail
• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
