Marketing Associate

About the role

First Sentier Group is seeking a Marketing Associate to join the team in Sydney. The Marketing Associate supports the marketing program across Australia and New Zealand and is a great opportunity to be part of a global investment management business with a strong international presence.

Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you will help bring our marketing strategy to life through events, sponsorships, content, branding, and digital campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of marketing activities, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and contribute to initiatives that support some of the industry's most respected investment teams.

Your day-to-day

Event support

• Assist with the delivery of client events, sponsorships, conferences, and roadshows.
• Coordinate event logistics, marketing materials, merchandise, and promotional collateral.
• Support event planning to enhance client engagement and business development outcomes.

Channel marketing

• Support the delivery of marketing campaigns across email, social media, digital, events, and content channels.
• Partner with Channel Marketing Managers to drive client acquisition, retention, and business development initiatives across ANZ.
• Help coordinate advertising, promotional, and integrated marketing activities.

Digital support

• Review website content, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging.
• Support email marketing and marketing automation campaigns through HubSpot.
• Assist with LinkedIn and digital marketing activity across multiple channels.

BAU

• Coordinate the production of marketing and sales materials, ensuring brand and compliance standards are met.
• Support third-party distributor marketing activity and maintain marketing calendars.
• Manage supplier relationships, invoice processing, budget tracking, and reporting.
• Contribute to marketing insights and activity reporting.

About you

Your experience and skills

• Degree qualified or 1-2 years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within financial services.
• Understanding of investment products and financial markets is desirable.
• Experience across digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and website content.
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn and digital marketing best practices.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other modern digital tools and technologies.
• Candidates with an events background in financial services who are looking to transition into a channel marketing role are also encouraged to apply.
