 26\, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm ET on Zoom to celebrate National Hispanic Heri
 tage Month. Speakers include FSU alumni and social workers Joseph Cantin\
 , Jr. (MSW '16) and Graciela Marquina (MSW '13) alongside Dr. Sinda Chapa
  of the FSU College of Communication and Information and Assistant Teachi
 ng Professor Erika Cuffy (MSW '16) of the College of Social Work as moder
 ator. This event is a part of the Courageous Conversations event series\,
  which explores social issues through discussions with FSU alumni.\n\nReg

 elists\n\nJoseph Cantin\, Jr.\, is from Miami\, Florida\, and is a first-
 generation graduate. He is a two-time FSU graduate\, earning a bachelor's
  degree in family\, youth and child sciences and a master's degree in soc
 ial work. Cantin has served in several different roles in the field of ch
 ild welfare\, including as a child protective investigator and child welf
 are dependency case manager supervisor. He has also served as an adjunct 
 professor for the FSU College of Social Work. His current role is as a me
 dical social worker with Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. He enjoys helpi
 ng others and being a parent to his young daughter\, Ariana.\n\nSindy Cha
 pa is originally from Tamaulipas\, Mexico\, and is the director of the Ce
 nter for Hispanic Marketing Communication at FSU and is a faculty researc
 h and professor with the FSU College of Communication and Information. Sh
 e is a leading researcher in cross-cultural consumer behavior\, Hispanic 
 marketing\, and advertising. She holds an MBA and a doctoral degree in in
 ternational business. Dr. Chapa has published extensively in leading acad
 emic journals\, co-authored various books focused on the growth of the Hi
 spanic market and has held leadership roles in organizations focuse
